New Snow

Winter has returned to Leadville. About 6 inches new as of Tues. AM.
Golf course should be nice skiing in the next few days, and we'll see
if anything gets officially groomed.

Turquoise Lake Road

Similar conditions, but a touch of fresh new snow that will make the
classic skiing better over the next few days. Still pretty flat
skating on the road.

T. Lake Skating

Some folks got out and dragged the road. The skating is the best that
it has been all year on the road. Best for the first 2 miles or so.
Awesome classic tracks down to Mayqueen (for tracks set by people
skiing them in). Be aware - it's a mulituse road. Lots of drivers and
snowmobilers out there as well.

Turquoise Lake

2 inches of snow on Monday. Cold temperatures have kept the classic
skiing easy to wax for. Skiing from the top of the hill before Abe Lee
to Windy Point and beyond. Skating is good, especially down lower and
up higher. Skiing should hold up well, despite little snow in the
forecast. Still early season Turquoise Lake conditions, but hard to
beat right now.

T. Lake Road

The Lake Road is holding up well. Skating is decent, especially right
in the Abe Lee area. Tracks set by folks skiing on either side of road
for most of its length. Still early season skiing, though.

T. Lake Road

Lots of folks out skiing on Sunday on T. Lake Road. There are skied in
Tracks for a few miles on the side of the road. The snowmobiles packed
down the ruts really well, so there is a fair amount of decent
skating. Should be good skiing for a while. It will hold up well
despite the sun in the next few days.

T. Lake Road

Skied on the Lake Road this morning from Abe Lee to Windy Point and
also down to Mayqueen area and back up. Got 4 inches of fresh snow
which made the waxing easy. Some folks helped to ski in tracks on the
side. Great early season skiing. Get out and enjoy!

T. Lake Road update

Skated from Abe Lee to Windy Point and back while Cody classic skied.
Skating was ok, a bit rutted at places, but pretty decent at others.
Road is 99% snow covered the whole way. Classic skiing is slick. Bring
your special red. Amazing amount of snow considering the weather.

Hagerman Pass Road

Golf course looked to be melting off this morning. Skied from Abe Lee
down toward Mayqueen and back up the hill. Early season classic on
special purple wax skiing in tire tracks. Some set (by skiers on left
side) tracks on the 1st part of Hagerman Road. Skating still pretty
rough.

Early Season Skiing

Golf Course has had good skiing recently, but the sun will likely melt
off the couple of inches.

Look for good early season conditions out on the south side of
Turquoise Lake road all week.
