The Turquoise Lake road is currently being plowed. Skiing can be found
in lots of places around town, along wit out on the ice on the lake
early in the morning.

There will be no more official grooming at Tennessee Pass, CMC, or the
Mineral Belt. The snowmobile club says that they will groom the Lake
on Wed, so try to get out early on Thursday! Great crust skiing (both

Nearing the end of season...

We groomed our trails this morning, but to be honest, the cat barely cut through the ice that has been left after this melt thaw we have been having.
Still, it is skiing!!!
We will close this weekend, Sunday March 30 and will go out with a bang!
Please Join us on Sunday at 3pm for live music with the Snow Weevils. Hopefully we will have some nice warm sun to enjoy on the deck.

It is going to be a gorgeous day today. All trails have been groomed, the sun is shining. It is a bit chilly, only 8 degrees at 9:30am. No one on the trails though, so come enjoy some nice spring sun and some peace and quiet.

Rich is out there finishing up the grooming right now. Fish Flats is done, as are all the trails. The skiing should be real nice with a little bit of fresh snow. It is snowing lightly and a little windy. Temp @ 9am is 19 degrees.

HAPPY SPRING BREAK TEXAS!

We have groomed most of our trails this morning. Almost everything but Fish Flats.
The trails are nice and firm, so fast and fun!
We hope to see you out here!

This Saturday we have live music at 3:30pm.
It is suppposed to be sunny, so come join us on the deck for some good times!

SkiJor Clinic with Fritz Howard

This morning Fritz Howard is hosting a SkiJor Clinic from 10am-1pm.
Cost is $35. Grab your dog and come learn from the master.

Paintball Ski Biathalon

1K Childrens Race @10:30am $5
5K Adult Race @11am $15
10K Adult Race @12 noon $15

Mineral Belt Trail:Dutch Henri to Slaughterhouse Gulch (through town) classic & skate. Slaughterhouse Gulch to Dutch Henri, skate only

TRAIL ADVISORY: Beginning today, 5 March 2008, as part of the mitigation of the LMDT, the MBT will be plowed to the pavement from Big Al's into Evans Gulch. The detour goes immediately east up 12th Street and turns north, crossing Evans Gulch and rejoins the MBT. Ski aware and share the trail. Expect to encounter snowmobiles on this detour. This detour is groomed but should be skied ONLY by thouse of upper intermediate or expert ability.

At 3:30pm all trails are finally groomed. It took us all day to get the trails clear enough and firm enough to ski on! And now they are skiing awesome, and it is starting to snow again.
Put down your shovels and come out for a ski!
